Terms of sale

Updated 27 October 2026.

1. Seller

Goods and services on 3dp.lv are offered by Uldis (a natural person; brand “3dp.lv”), e-mail info@3dp.lv. The seller is not registered for VAT — the prices shown are final, no VAT is charged.

2. Ordering and conclusion of the contract

When the contract is concluded: for ready-made goods and jobs ordered with the price calculator — when the order is paid (when collecting at the workshop and paying on the spot — when the seller has confirmed the order by e-mail); for individual jobs — when you accept the seller’s written offer. The automatic e-mail after placing an order confirms that the order has been received, but does not yet mean the contract is concluded.

  • Goods: choose a product, add it to the cart and place the order. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail. The contract is concluded when the order is paid (or, for pick-up at the workshop, when the seller confirms the order).
  • Services ordered through the price calculator (3D printing, laser engraving and cutting, CNC milling): the price is calculated from the parameters you enter (size, material, quantity, options) and is the price of the order you add to the cart. The contract is concluded when the order is paid.
  • Before production we check that the attached file matches the parameters you entered. If it does not (e.g. the part is larger or needs more material or work) or it cannot be made technically, we contact you by e-mail before any work starts with the corrected price or the reason. You can accept the corrected price or cancel the order and receive a full refund.
  • Jobs that the calculator marks as “price on request” (very large, special materials) and other individual work: the seller sends a written offer with price and lead time by e-mail; the contract is concluded when you accept it.
  • Mock-up before work: for personalised items with your text, logo or image (e.g. engraving, laser cut or a 3dp.lv Studio design) we send a mock-up for approval by e-mail before starting work. We start only after your approval. If the mock-up needs changes, we correct it and send it again; if you do not want to continue before work starts, you can cancel the order and get a full refund. After the mock-up is approved, we make the item exactly as approved.
  • The seller may decline an order (e.g. if it cannot be made technically or would infringe the law or third-party rights) — any payment is then refunded in full.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in euro (EUR). Delivery costs are shown before you confirm the order. Payment methods: bank transfer against an invoice sent by e-mail, or cash payment on pick-up at the workshop; online card payments are not currently available.

Currencies: prices can also be viewed in British pounds (GBP) or US dollars (USD) — for information only, at an approximate daily rate. The order, invoice and payment are always in euro, and the amount in euro is binding. If you pay from an account in another currency, the conversion rate and fee are set by your bank.

4. Delivery and pick-up

  • Pick-up at the workshop in Latvia — free of charge, by appointment via e-mail.
  • Parcel lockers and couriers (DPD, Latvijas Pasts) in Latvia and abroad — price depends on country and weight.
  • Ready-made goods are shipped within 1–3 working days after payment; made-to-order items within the agreed lead time (usually 2–5 working days).
  • We ship to every country our postal and courier services deliver to.
  • Customs and taxes outside the EU: there are no customs charges within the EU. For shipments outside the EU, the recipient pays all import duties, import VAT, customs and handling fees set by the destination country or the carrier. These costs are not included in the item or delivery price. If the recipient refuses to pay them and the parcel is returned, return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund.
  • United Kingdom: orders delivered to the United Kingdom have a minimum order value of €160 (UK VAT rules for consignments up to £135).
  • Russia and Belarus: we do not ship goods to, or provide services in, these countries and do not accept such orders.
  • Sanctions and export restrictions: we fulfil orders only where applicable sanctions, export, import and carriage rules allow it. If there is reason to believe an order may breach them (for example, the goods may be forwarded to a country they are not permitted for), we suspend the order, may ask for further information, or cancel it and refund any payment received.
  • Latvijas Pasts registered international parcel: the price is the official Latvijas Pasts tariff for the destination country and parcel weight, shown before you confirm the order.

5. Right of withdrawal (14 days)

A consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving any reason. For goods, the period starts on the day you receive the goods; for services, on the day the contract is concluded.

How to withdraw: use the withdrawal function “Withdraw from purchase or contract” or send a clear statement to info@3dp.lv. It is enough to send it before the period expires.

  • Send the goods back or hand them over at the workshop within 14 days after notifying withdrawal; the cost of return is borne by the buyer.
  • We refund all payments, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or proof of dispatch.
  • You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised (e.g. engraving with your text or logo, items made from your file or dimensions), or to services fully performed with your express consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed.

Services (e.g. CNC machine repair and maintenance): if you want us to start work within the 14-day withdrawal period, request it expressly in writing (by email) and confirm that you understand the right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been fully performed. If you withdraw after the work has begun, you pay for the work done up to the withdrawal in proportion to the total price.

6. Quality and complaints

A consumer may claim for lack of conformity of goods or services within 2 years from delivery. Send your complaint to info@3dp.lv with the order number and photos; we reply within 15 days. Depending on the case, the item will be repaired, replaced, the price reduced or the money refunded.

7. Customer files

By sending a file you confirm that you have the right to use it. If the file was not purchased or otherwise lawfully obtained, the customer bears all related risks and any third-party claims. The seller makes the item from the customer's file as a contractor and does not check the file's origin. The seller does not make items that infringe third-party rights or the law. Customer files are used only to fulfil the order and are not disclosed to third parties.

If we create a 3D model or vector file from the customer's sketch, photo or description, the customer gets the right to use it freely once paid in full. The seller does not use or distribute it without the customer's consent. The seller keeps the rights to its own working methods, G-code and generic design elements.

8. Personal data

How we process order data and files is described in the Privacy policy.

9. Disputes

We aim to resolve disputes by agreement. If that fails, a consumer may contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre of Latvia (ptac.gov.lv) or the courts of the Republic of Latvia. Latvian law applies, without depriving the consumer of the protection of mandatory rules of their country of residence.

10. Changes

The seller may change these terms. An order is governed by the terms in force when it was placed. The date of changes is shown at the top of the page.

11. What 3dp.lv sells and is responsible for

3dp.lv sells and provides only its own handmade products and services (3D printing, laser work, CNC milling, maintenance and repair). These terms apply only to them.

To the extent permitted by law, 3dp.lv is not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of the site. This section does not limit consumer rights provided by law.

Annex. Model withdrawal form
