Updated 30 October 2026.
This page explains what personal data 3dp.lv processes, why, how long we keep it and who we share it with. We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising and do not build visitor profiles.
1. Controller
The controller of personal data is Uldis (a natural person, brand “3dp.lv”), e-mail info@3dp.lv. Send any questions about your data to this address.
2. What data we process and why
- Orders and account — name, e-mail, phone, delivery and billing address, order history. Purpose: concluding and performing the contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Social sign-in — if you register or sign in with a Facebook, Google or YouTube account, the sign-in is handled by the OneAll service (oneall.com): we receive your name and e-mail address, and OneAll technically receives your IP address. The sign-in buttons are loaded from OneAll only on the sign-in, registration and checkout sign-in pages, so OneAll technically receives your IP address there even if you do not use them. This is optional — you can also create an account with an e-mail address and password (6(1)(a)).
- Communication — e-mails and contact form messages, price requests from the calculator, files you send. Purpose: answering questions and preparing offers (6(1)(b); 6(1)(f)).
- Assistant (chat on the site) — your messages and our replies, language, IP address, a random chat identifier kept in your browser and — if you give them or are signed in — your name, e-mail or phone. Questions are answered automatically from our list of frequently asked questions; if there is no answer there, Uldis replies in person. The chat does not use artificial intelligence to answer you. Purpose: answering questions and helping with orders (6(1)(b); 6(1)(f)). The chat is optional — you can also write to info@3dp.lv.
- Seller's AI assistant (shop administration) — only when Uldis himself asks the assistant for help (for example a draft reply, an overview of orders or a product description), the minimum needed data is sent to Anthropic (Claude): the text of the relevant chat conversation and order data (products, amounts, country, first name), without e-mail, phone or address; IP addresses are shortened. The assistant decides nothing and sends nothing to you by itself — every reply, order status change or text is checked and approved by Uldis. Purpose: handling enquiries and orders efficiently (6(1)(f)).
- Files and the price calculator — files you drop into the calculator are processed by your browser. A file is sent to the server only when you add the job to the cart, request a price or send it to us yourself. We use these files only to prepare, fulfil and, if needed, handle claims about your order or offer; they are not publicly accessible (6(1)(b)).
- 3dp.lv Studio and the personaliser — your design (texts, fonts, shapes, uploaded images), a session identifier, your IP address and, if you request a price, your name, e-mail, phone and quantity. Purpose: saving your design, preparing a price and making your order (6(1)(b)). Designs are not publicly accessible.
- Payments — order number, amount and payment status (details in section 3) (6(1)(b); 6(1)(c)).
- Accounting — invoices (name, address, e-mail, amount, goods). Purpose: meeting legal obligations (6(1)(c)).
- Newsletter — e-mail, only if you subscribe. Basis: consent (6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Reviews — your name and review text are published with your consent (6(1)(a)). After a completed order we send one e-mail asking for a review (6(1)(f)); we do not send it again.
- Security — IP address, browser information (User-Agent), the security cookie identifier, pages visited, the page you came from, and suspicious activity (for example failed logins or attack attempts). Purpose: detecting and preventing attacks on the website (6(1)(f)). An automated security system may temporarily restrict access from an address that attacks come from; if this happened by mistake, write to info@3dp.lv. There is no other automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Payments
Online payments are not currently enabled — you pay by bank transfer against an invoice, or in cash when collecting your order at the workshop. The QR code for a bank transfer is generated in your browser and is not received by any payment service.
When we enable online payments, your data will be passed only to the service you choose, and only as much as the payment requires:
- Paysera (including bank payment links) — first name, last name, e-mail, country, amount, order number.
- Stripe and Revolut — e-mail, amount, order number.
- Montonio and PayPal — only the amount and the order number.
You enter card and bank details on the payment service’s own page — 3dp.lv neither sees nor stores them. Payment services also process your data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.
4. Who receives the data
Only as far as necessary:
- the website hosting and e-mail providers;
- the delivery company you choose (for example DPD or Latvijas Pasts) — name, address, phone, e-mail;
- the payment service you choose (see section 3);
- OneAll — on the sign-in pages only (see section 2);
- the translation services MyMemory (Translated S.r.l., Italy, EU) and DeepL (DeepL SE, Germany, EU) — if you write to us in another language, the text of your message may be translated so that we can understand it, and our reply may be translated the same way. If a search in the “Find a ready file” section of the calculator contains words our dictionary does not know, the search text is sent from your browser to MyMemory, which also technically receives your IP address;
- the notification service ntfy (ntfy.sh) — the seller receives a phone notification about a new order, message or request; the notification may contain the order or request number, your name or e-mail and the beginning of the message (up to 300 characters);
- Anthropic PBC (USA) — only when Uldis uses the AI assistant in the shop administration: the text of a chat conversation and order data needed for the task, without contact details (see section 2);
- public authorities — where required by law.
If a service provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, this happens only with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
The links to WhatsApp, Facebook and Pinterest are ordinary links — nothing is sent until you click them.
5. Retention
- Account data — until the account is deleted.
- Order and accounting documents — for the period required by law.
- Files attached to orders and ordered designs — 24 months after the order is completed, unless you ask us to delete them earlier or to keep them for a repeat order.
- Studio and personaliser drafts that have not been ordered and for which no price was requested — 30 days.
- Studio designs with a price request that have not been ordered — 12 months.
- Calculator price offers and their files — until the offer expires (usually 30 days), if the offer is not ordered.
- Guest cart (without an account) — 30 days.
- Technical responses from payment services — 180 days; the amount and the link to the order remain for accounting.
- Communication — until the query or order is closed and any complaint period has ended.
- Assistant chat conversations — 180 days after the last message.
- Security logs (IP addresses, pages visited, security events) and copies of contact form messages in the security system — up to 90 days after they have been dealt with; records of blocked addresses — while the block is in force.
- Newsletter e-mail — until consent is withdrawn.
- Reviews — until you ask us to delete them.
6. Cookies and browser storage
The site uses only the cookies and browser storage needed for it to work. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, so no consent is required for them. Fonts are loaded from our own server; Google Fonts, Google Maps, Google Analytics and other tracking services are not used.

7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict or object to processing, receive your data for portability and withdraw consent at any time. Write to info@3dp.lv — we will reply within one month. You may lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (dvi.gov.lv) or with the data protection supervisory authority of your own country of residence.
8. Children
The site is not intended for persons under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
If our data processing changes (for example, when we enable a new service), we will update this page and the date at the top.
